School lunch menu
The Colony Chapter of Services Program for
Aging Needs (SPAN), meets daily at The Colony
Civic Center, 5576 North Colony. Lunch is served
at 12 p.m., Monday through Friday. Reservations
for lunch should be made at least one day in advance.
For reservations call 370-9410.
This week’s lunch schedule is:
chicken, baked beans, sweet and sour slaw, dinner
roll and butter, yellow strawberry whip cream cake
and milk.
■Friday, Sept. 22: Sloppy Joe, cottage cheese,
country vegetables, tossed salad and dressing,
hamburger bun, fresh melon and milk.
■Monday, Sept. 25: Fried chicken, hash browns,
mixed vegetables, wheat bread and butter, apple-
sauce and milk.
The Lewisville Independent School District
serves nutritious meals every school day. Lunches
are $1.10 in elementary grades and $1.25 in secon-
dary grades.
This week’s elementary school lunch schedule is:
■Wednesday, Sept. 20: Grilled ham and cheese
sandwich, potato rounds, cherry crisp and milk.
■Thursday, Sept. 21: Burrito, buttered corn, gela-
tin with fruit, chocolate pudding and milk.
■Friday, Sept. 22: Sloppy Joe on a bun, french fries,
fruit cup, almond cookie and milk.
■Monday, Sept. 25: Little Smokies sausage, macar-
oni and cheese, green beans, fruit salad, cornbread
and milk.
■Tuesday, Sept. 26: Cheeseburger, french fries,
burger salad, banana pudding and milk.
■Wednesday, Sept. 20: Chicken Royale, mashed
potatoes, green beans, dinner roll and butter, bana-
na cake and milk.
■Thursday, Sept. 21: "Birthdav meal." Barbeque
■Tuesday, Sept. 26: Smoked sausage, baked
beans, potato salad, hot dog roll, catsup and mus-
tard, fresh melon and milk.
