bad.

Radtke and Facilities Manager
Don Tillis told board members
that four new bus drivers will be
hired and routes will be added this
month. Tillis said that will allow
a few more stops to be added and
some of the longer rides will be
shortened.
“Unfortunately, this is what we
are going to have to live with,”
said Board President Alan Rich.
“It makes our hearts break. The
staff takes the hits for the deci-
sions we make. We can’t thank
you enough.”
Kelly said the state’s belt-tight-
ening mood is not likely to change
any time soon.
“The long-term picture does not
look rosy at the state level,” Kelly
said. “We have to be prepared that
this type of budget is going to be
the modus operandi for the next
five or six years at least.”
