OBITUARIES
Joe Winfield Castleman, Sr.
Dr. Clifford T. Sarnacki
April 21,1912- June 15, 2011
Joe Winfield Castleman, Sr. passed away on
Wednesday, June 15, 2011, in Boerne at the
age of 99 years. Joe was the son of Earl Baker
Castleman and Hattie Beatrice Covington.
He was preceded in death by the love of his
fife of 68 years, his wife Anne McNiel Castle-
man; a son Joe Winfield Castleman, Jr.; by
brothers Jim, John, Charlie and Barnie; and by
sisters Lillian Broom Little, Muriel Johnson,
Tommie Birdie Strange and Ruth Ressel.
Joe is survived by his devoted family that
loved him very much, daughters, Princess
Cook, LaDawn Shryer and her husband G.P.,
Castleman
Dr. Clifford T. Sarnacki passed away in
his sleep on the morning of June 9, 2011.
He was a wonderful son, husband, father,
grandfather, physician and friend. He was
preceded in death by his parents, Henry and
Sophie Sarnacki. He is survived by his wife
of 52 years, Renetta; his daughters, Kemper
and Kerry; grandchildren Jordan, Justin,
Max and Boris; and his loyal office family;
Cindy and Nancy.
He completed his Bachelor of Arts from
Western Reserve, received his Medical Doc-
torate from Ohio State Medical School and

Sam Houston. Currently, there are
two more dates planned to deliver
baked goods this summer: Tues-
day, July 12, and Tuesday, Aug.
