at the arena in the city
park. Members
approved a motion for
the president to
appoint a committee to
draft by-laws to be
presented to the club at
a meeting on October 8
at 8 p.m. in the Stapp
Oil Co. offices, Hwy. 69
in Leonard; Jerry A.
Davis was selected to
secure a non-profit
organization charter
from the State of Texas
for the club upon
approval by the
membership of pro-
posed by-laws.
All members are
encouraged to attend
the meeting October 8

Camp Fire Adventurers
held their first meeting
September 14. Mem-
bers present were An-
gie Cole, Carrie Cruit,
Denise Wallace, Mitzi
Chandler and Angela
Hastings. Making
paper windmills was
the project this week.
The meeting ended
with the Adventurers in
the Friendship Circle

shrubs and lawns”
presented by “Griff”
Griffit.
The club voted to
serve a “Thanksgiv-
ing” lunch to the
Chamber of Commerce
at their November
meeting.
