APPOINTMENTS
During the month of May the Allen City Council will be
considering appointments to the Planning and Zoning
Commission, Library Board and the Development Impact
Advisory Committee.
If you are interested in serving your community on one of
these interesting and challenging boards or commission,
contact the City Secretary’s Office at 727-0105 to obtain a
data sheet. The data sheet must be completed and returned
to the City Secretary’s Office by noon on Wednesday,
May 26, 1993.
An information reception will be held by the City Council
on Thursday, June 3, 1993, at 6:30 p.m., at the Allen
Municipal Annex, One Butler Circle, Allen, Texas, for all
potential candidates to meet with the City Council, to hear
presentation on the boards and commission under
consideration, and to arrange for an interview date and
time.

The City of Alien Animal Shelter and the Allen 4-H will be
holding a vaccination clinic, dog, dip and pet parade on
Saturday, May Sth 1993, in honor of National pet Week, May
3rd-9th. The event will be held at the City of Allen Animal
Shelter located at 400 S. Jupiter.
The vaccination clinic and dog dip will be,from 1-4 pm. The
pet parade will start at 2:30 pm and the participants need
to pre-register if possible or arrive early to register. There will
be five categories to choose from:
