jet airliner from the naval air
station at nearby Quonset Point
at 10:10 a.m. EDT Tuesday. They
are due to arrive at O'Hare In-
ternational Airport at Chicago at
1120 a.m. CDT.
Hagerty told newsmen the Re-
publican National Committee will
pay the full cost of the flight be-
cause the President will be on a
political mission.:
Tuesday will be “Ike Day” in
Chicago and a huge reception is
expected
From O’Hare airport, the Presi-
dent and his wife will make a
short light by helicopter to Meigs
Field on the Lake Michigan
shore
Then they will travel by motor-
cade from Meigs Field through
downtown Chicago to the Black-
stone Hotel for an overnight stay.

day.
County Attorney Bill Thomas
filed the charge in Judge H. F.
Long's justice court. Kimbler is
accused of cashing a bad check |
for $10 at Varsity Barbershop, 922 |
N. 13th St . after getting a hair-
cut and a shave, taking the rest
in change.
In other cases Wednesday,
Cedell Lyons, 33, of 1026 Ash
St., was charged with felony theft
of a chain hoist from George
Bailey at Winters on June 24
Jean Bursby, currently in the
Taylor County jail, pleaded guilty
to check swindling in the passing
of a $22.25 check July 13 to pay
for taxi fare, and was fined $200
and sentenced to one year in jail
Jesse Lee Gaston, 48, of 1009
Pecan St., pleaded guilty to driv-
ing while intoxicated, and was
fined $200 and sentenced to seven
days in jail
Walter Harvey Cummings, 42,
of 605 N. 8th St., pleaded guilty
to DWI and was fined $125 and
sentenced to three days in jail.
Orvel Lee Moody of 3748 N, 19th
St pleaded guilty to speeding and
was fined $30 and costs by Judge
Allen Glenn.
Juan Pablo Cisneros, of 2915
Junie St , Dallas, pleaded guilty
to carrying a prohibited weapon
and was fined #150 and court costs
