Invitational Golf Tourney starts qualifying play
Friday with approximately 60 of the top area golf-
!** ers expected to be on hand
133 Qualifying in all flights will end at 5 p.m Friday
’•..I With three or four flights of 16 players each two
rounds of match play are scheduled for all contest-
ants on both Saturday and Sunday. Champions in
all flights will be crowned at the close of Sunday's
match play.
The tourney will be held over the Lakewood
Country Club course, located midway between
Cross Plains and Rising Star.
Entry fee for the tourney is $4. Prizes of golf
merchandise will be awarded to all flight winners
and runners-up J. S. Glower of Cross Plains is
chairman of the tournament.
