Girls and women of the most even
dispositions are quick to resent direct
attacks on their character, or bold ad-
vances. But it is hardly explainable
why these same folks tolerate dis-
figuring pimples, blotches, bumps,
“breaking out," etc., which are even
worse pests than that.
These skin diseases quit annoying
people quickly after first few appli-
cations of the wonderful Black and
White Ointment, and the regular use
of Black and White Soap. The cost
is so small none need hesitate be-
cause they “can’t afford it." The 50c
size of the ointment contains three
times as much as the liberal 25c size.
All dealers have both Black and

WEEKLY GOVERNMENT
WEATHER SUMMARY
The week was rather warm and
there* was again practically no rain-
fall in cotton-growing , states, except
in the extreme west and northwest
portion of the belt. The picking of
cotton that remained in the fields
made quite good progress generally,
except for delay in Southern Illinois
and Arkansas caused by rainfall, and
the work made only fairly good prog-
ress in Oklahoma, where there was
also some interruption by rainfall.
