CARSCH BBG
HEY EVERYBODY! Paula
Klingman is the new N’siah of
Barbara Nathan Carsch and
Rhonda Kligman is S’ganit. As
Caryn Sutil was proclained
Mitmom, she was presented with
a darling little bib.
Carsch is having too good a
time with our NOMS to
concentrate on volleyball. We
hope our opponents don’t think
they are winning because of
their so called skill. We love our
NOMs so much that we can’t
think of anything else.
Some people in Carsch are
very excited and happy because
they are going to Regional
Convention. Paula Kligman is
going as N'siah and Head
Delegate, Rhonda Kligman is
going as S’ganit. Our fantastic
Judy Forbes will be orator and
Lori Dushkin is our storyteller.
Rots of ruck, Judy and Lon.
Our three Musketeers — Barbara
Goldfield, Sandi Frucht, and
Suzanne Klaff are going as

Delegates. Chan Fallas, Annie

Eisenstein, Shelly Schnurr, Lisa
Levy, Debbie Rosenberg, and
Elena Greenberg are write-ins.
Carsch is sending a terrific
delegation this year.
The day finally came. It was a
cold, bleak, and windy day.
Inside the house sat 10 little (?)
MITs. All was quiet as they
struggled to remember
everything that they could about
Carsch. Silence reigned except
for the scratch of pens on paper.
In case you haven’t guessed. I’m
talking about the MIT Test.
Carsch sure hopes everyone did
good.
On Friday night, December
10, our MITs will be MITs no
more. They will finally become
members of Barbara Nathan
Carsch.
This being the last week of
Debbie Rothstein’s
administration, we all wish her
future endeavors will be
successful. Three cheers for a job
(!!!) well done.
AZA 136
We would like to congratulate
Leon Zainfeld on their fine
selection of Stan Caplan as one
of their noms.
On the sports scene, Steve
Seltzer and Steve Rose were
selected as team basketball
Phone: 225-1131
captains. Our B team captain is
Rick Nepomnick. Yes folks, we
did it - 136 is no. 1. We
demolished CA, 13-6 in our A
team playoff game, giving us the
championship. The helpless CA
line could not withstand the
power crushing offensive line
and backfield
of 136.
Touchdowns were
Bobby Frederick
made by
and Joel
Selzer, scoring with a pass from
Sam Roberts. Doug Swenson
scored the extra point on our
second score. Another
outstanding player on offensive
was Marvin Pleason. On defense,
George Forbes, No. 90 -(alias
Rodrigo Barnes) did a bang-up
job. Last but not least, Steve
Seltzer sacked the helpless CA
backfield 4 times. We hope CA is
recuperating from our crucial
beating.
136 proudly announces its
new administration: Godol —
Bobby Halpin; S’gan — Paul
Meisler; and Moreh — Steve
Seltzer.
BBG 63
BBG 63 would like to
congratulate Carsch, Reichman
and Zainfeld for picking up such
fantastic noms. Congratulations
136 for becoming no. 1 in
football. Happy Birthday, Mindy
and Cindy. Good Luck “Gold
Ears”! Congratulations old
MITs, New members!
CYRUS ADLER
November 27, Cyrus Adler’s
brother chapter, Henry Monsky,
held its anniversary dance up in
Big “D”. At the ceremony, they
announced their new sweetheart
as Miss Karen Cortel.
Now for CA sports news: At
the end of a well played football
season, our A team finished
second place with a record of 6
wins and only 3 losses. We
would like to congratulate 136’s
A team on winning the
championship. Just wait until
next year tho.
December 3 started a new
administration for Cyrus Adler
when our newly elected officers
were installed. The installation
was held at Joe Roitenberg’s
house.
REICHMAN BBG
EXTRA! EXTRA! Read all
about it! The rabbits picked up
the Best Noms and there’s no
doubt about it. And now’ for the
names. They are Pierre Malek,
Joe Fallas, Hyman Penn, Steve
Gold, and Mike Levitan. Yea
Noms!
Now we would like to let
ya’ll know who we elected to go
to Regional. They are Shelley
Nathan, Head Delegate; Carol
Smith and Elizabeth Smith,
Delegates; and Shelly Moore and
Claudia Lample, participants.
And on the sports scene! We
are sorry to say that we lost to
63 and STP, but at least we had
more spirit than any other
chapter. Even our 5 most
fantastic
spirit!
And
noms showed their
under our gossip
column: Was that one of OUR
noms chasing one of OUR girls
in to the girl’s bathroom at the
JCCP!!!!
ISADORE SHAPRIO AZA
Shapiro would like

to
Regional Convention 1971:

in Basketball. A team will be
under the direction of Mike
Levitan while Mike Odensky
takes the reins of B team.
There is still time to get into
Shapiro’s new AIT class. Call
Steve Gold at 729-2437.
BARNSTON BBG
November 15, Barnston held
its annual fantastic fashion
show. We’d like to thank those
who attended and also Joske’s
for helping to complete its
success. Friday night, November
19, the bears had a surprise
service for Leni Spector’s 15th
Birthday. We also went Across
the Street into a booming
business afterwards. Happy
Birthday, Leni.

Rosen, Head Delegate; Elisa
