McClaran=Long
At the home of the bride's
brother, in north Aspermont
Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock a
pretty home \yedding was solem-
nized, the contacting parties
were Guy G. McClaran and Miss
Grace T. Long. Rev. A. T.
Ford tied the nuptial knot in a
few short but well chosen words
after which prayer was offered.
The wedding was a quiet affair
witnessed only by the relatives
a and few intimate friends. After
the ceremony the guests were
invited into the dining room
where a table well laden with all
kinds of tempting viands and
delicacies had been previously
prepared, and asked to eat and
drink to the health of the bride
and groom.
• The bride is the beautiful and
accomplished sister of our fellow
townsman, T. M. Long and is a
prize well worth the winning.
The groom comes of one of the
best families in Stenewall county,
being honorable, upi-ight and
industrious.
Ma}* their lives be as one sweet
song and their pathway strewn
with the perfume of happiness
and contentment is the hearty
wish of the editor.
This office acknowledges re-
ceipt of a box of choice wedding
cake and other delicacies supple-
mental to the fine supper we had
the privilege of enjoying.
Excellent Health Advice.
Mrs. M. M. Davison, of No.
379 Gifford Ave., San Jose, Cal.,
says: "The worth of Electric
Bitters as a general family rem-
edy, for headache, biliousness
and torpor of the liver and bowels
is so pronounced that I am
prompted to say a word in its
favor, for the benefit of those
seeking relief from such afflic-
tions. There is more health for
the digestive organs in a bottle of
Electric Bitters than in any other
remedy I know of." Sold under
guarantee at Will Marr's drug
store. 50c.

What is Money?
The loudest sound in the voice
of life—
Bait for the matrimonial hook -
Fuel for fun—
The one thing that makes
straight things look crooked and
crooked things straight—
The most effective substitute
for brains—
The provider of everything but
happiness
The passport to everything but
heaven-
Something that always'gets the
glad hand —
The most difficult root to culti-
vate—
That which women look for
while men sleep—
A curse to those who have it
and a curse to those who have it
not—
What the rich don't need and
poor don't get—
The health of business
Many people's God—
The antidote to poverty
That which speaks all lan-
guages, and generally says good-
bye.
We this week introduce to our
readers a new feature, "The
Home Circle Column." We are
undecided whether or not to
make this a regular feature in
our paper. This paper is issued
for the pleasure and usefulness of
our subscribers, and not for our
own gratification, and as far as
possible we desire to give our
readers the kind of reading they
desire. It occurred to us that a
column each week of the nature
of the same appearing in this
issue might prove interesting to
our readers in general and the
mothers, the queen of the home,
in particular. Now readers it is
up to you. If you would enjoy
such a column each week just
drop us a card or in any manner
that suits your convenience let lis
know your verdict. We believe
such a department would not
only pi*ove interesting but that
its moral tone would be such as
to make an impression for good
in the community. We are wil-
ling to do extra work necessary
if convinced our readers would
appreciate the same. We hope
you will at once, in some manner
communicate to us your desire in
the matter. We are here to
please you.
For Sore Feet.
"I have found Bucklen's Arnica
Salve to be the proper thing to
use for sore feet, as well as for
healing burns, sores. cuts, and
all manner of abrasions," writes
Mr. W. Stone, of East Poland,
Maine. It is the proper thing
too for piles. Try it! Sold
under guarantee at Will Marr's
drug store. 25c.
