P. S. It must be remembered and understood

Engines. Boiler and Smoke Stacks, mounted on
wheels, ready to be attached to the saw mill, with
the engine detached ready to go to work, or steam
engine and plain cylinder boilers.
They manufacture a large size Horse-Power,
CHOICE WINES, LIQ UORS. TOBACCO 7 with an enlarged wheel, and third-class Saw Mill,
particularly adapted to plantation purposes; many
hundreds of which are in use throughout the
States, doing good service and enjoying the favor
of the best judges.
They also manufacture Horse Powers of three
sizes, adapted to all the purposes of the plantation
and farm, also timber wheels and lumber cars.
Their Portable Circular Saw Mills h ave been
greatly improved, and may now be said to be per-
fect in all their details, and to rank as the greatest
labor-saving machines of the age.

At San Augustine, with the Eagle Line from
Alexandria, La., to Nacogdoches and the West.
At San Augustine, with the Southern Line to
Jasper and Weiss’ Bluff, thence by the Mail Packet
Steamer to Sabine Pass, connecting with the South-
ern Steamship Company’s Packets to New Orleans
and Galveston.
This Southern Line intersects at Jasper the
South-Eastern Stage Line, from Cheneyville, La.,
(connecting with a line to the mouth of Red river
by way of Burr’s Ferry, Burkeville, Jasper, Wood-
ville and Livingston’, to Huntsville and the West.
(& By an arrangement with Nelson Taylor’s
line from Alexandria to’ Nacogdoches, through
tickets may be had by application to Mr. Taylor’s
agent at Alexandria, or of M. J Harris at postof-
fice in Marshall for Alexandria for $20 00, being
the shortest, cheapest and most direct route to
New Orleans.
