Whitney Carraway of Alto
attended the Houston Live-
stock Show and Rodeo Feb. 12-
14. Miaa Carraway ahowed 11
of her Holland Lop rabbits. She
won Best of Breed and Best
Opposite Sex of Breed with
her senior buck, Tator Tot, and
her senior doe, Hilger. There
were 76 rabbits shown in this
breed. She had the top three
senior bucks in the solid pat-
tern category and the top two
senior bucks in the broken
pattern category.
Miss Carraway also attended
the Pasadena Rabbit Breed-
ers Assn. show on Jan. 20. She
won Beat of Breed and Best
Opposite Sex of Breed with
her senior buck, Toucan, and
her senior doe, Hilger in show
A. She won Best of Breed with
her senior buck, Tator Tot, in
show B. Tator Tot and Toucan
compet ed for Best in Show and
Tator Tot won first runner-up
Best in Show.
Miss Carraway is a member
of the National Holland Lop
Rabbit Club where she is pres-
ently in 8th place in the na-
tion. She is also a member of
Alto FFA and president of the
Alto 4-H Club and serves on
the Cherokee County 4-H
Council.
