The final performance in the Cibolo Nature
Center’s 2010 Songs & Stories outdoor con-
cert series is set for 8:30 to 11:45 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 11 with One Minute to Mid-
night returning for the big band’s 11th year.
One Minute to Midnight serves up an
eclectic mix of jazz, soul and contemporary
rock, from Cole Porter to Motown soul and
from big-band swing to Sting. Based in
San Antonio, OMM is fronted by Boerne
residents Jill Mason and rockin’ physician
Mark Mason.
Admission to the concert is $10; CNC mem-
bers $7.50; those 65 and up $5; and free for
children 12 and younger. OMM is performing
gratis to benefit the Cibolo Nature Center.
Concert-goers who come early on Sept. 11
will have a chance to preview and purchase
several pairs of cowboy boots, hand painted
by more than a dozen area artists, during a
special “Sole to Soul” reception that begins
at 7:30 p.m.
