Graduations are in full sway
this season-- with two school
systems and all the kin-
dergarten schools.
********
We attended the Press party
for the Gingerbread Trails and
took some interesting pix we’ll
use as soon as there is room.
The Trails will include some
homes in Waxahachie and
Midlothian. Funds derived will
go toward the upkeep of the
Ellis County Museum and Art
Gallery, Inc. They are
scheduled the first weekend in
June, as always. We had a
release earlier-- a week or so
ago-- describing the for-
thcoming trails Saturday, June
3, and Sunday, June 4. MRS.
LYNN B. GRIFFITH is
president of the Gay Nineties
Club and she, especially, was
(decked out in authentic Nineties,
finery, complete with fancy hat.
But all hosts and hostesses at
the party looked much like we
did during our Centennial as far
as dress was concerned, as they
do each year during the
Gingerbread Trail events.
Except that the men do not
grow beards and moustaches.
