BRYAN FOLK OR HEARST.
Special to The Light.
Waco Tex. Feb. 21 —In a recent
discussion between a "’op of republi-
can and democratic citizens inform-
a’’y. it was agreed that in the na-
tional election of 1908 it was very
probable that W. J. Bryan would be
much In evidence If he were not the
nominee of the democratic party
again a ’ standard bearer. The ma-
jority seemed to think that Bryan
would be the leader while others be-
lieved that probably it might be Folk
or possibly Hearst. Most of those
present appeared to think however
that Hearst would probably bo on the
ticket for second place no matter
who might be the nominee for presi-
dent. All agreed that the contest of
1908 would probably be one of the
most Interesting in the history of the
country.
