The Doctor Writes of Counterfeiters.

CHAS. H. FLETCHER New York City. w
Dear Mr. Fletcher:—I wish to congratulate you on your numerous vic-
tories over counterfeiters and imitators of Castoria and trust the time is not far
distant when these inferior and dangerous mixtures will be entirely suppressed.
You are right when you say in your advertisements that it is ‘ Experience
against Experiment”
I feel it to be an outrage and an imposition upon the parents of little chil-
dren that my name should be associated with imitations of Castoria dangerous to
the health and life of these little ones who too often fight their battles for life in vain.
Let me again commend you for the high standard you have maintained
in the preparation of my prescription and I confidently believe it is due to this
scrupulous integrity you are indebted for the wonderful sale of Castoria to-day
and the steady growth it has had since I gave you the details of its manufacture
in my laboratory thirty-three years ago. / n

“Wife or Mother." a very strong
sensational drama of the most inter-

New Electric park tonight by the Hol-

Wils is a play that rouses all the
beat emotions in the human mind
dealing as it does with situations
which vitally effect the home life.

a moral to impress this is done par-
tially and quite as effectively by
means of humor as by means of
pathos and those in attendance can
feel assured that the evening will
be one of the most unalloyed pleas-

The specialties tonight will be
more than usually interesting. Ver-
non Wallace has a number of new
songs. Clark will do two or three of
his famous side splitting stunts and

ing and singing specialties.
The play last night was "The Old
New Hampshire Home” drama deal-
ing with rural life. It is in such plays
that the present company does Its
very best work. The principals and
supporting company are undoubtedly
of more than usual merit and their
manner of presenting such dramas lift
them out of the cheap class. There
Is no over acting or loud talk and
horse play to mar the pleasure of the
scenes. Both Myrtle and Maud Hol-
lingsworth. Messrs. Brierre and Wal-
lace Miss Igirtigue. and the other
members of the company are finished
actors and do very creditable work.
"The Great Babcock" still proved
I a groat drawing card. San Antonio

throng the grounds every evening to
witness It. This is Babcocw’s last

“Did you learn to say ‘you all’ in

a great leap. There was something

She had been struck dumb by the
wording of the note lint his apparently
sincere apology for Ids friend set her
every emotion into play onee more.
While he wna speaking her wits were
forming themselves for conflict. She
opened the campaign with a bold at-

But with ull her bravery she was uot
able to look him in the face.

"But I’ve never said tliaV 1 was—was

There was a piteous appeal’ in her
voice and lie was not slow to notic»-» tt

“But what is to become of me If you
are not the princess?" he asked after
a long pause. “I can no longer serve
you. This is my last day in the castle
guard.”
“You are to go on serving me—I mean
you are to retain your place iu the serv-

keep my promise to yqp." How small

It did not seem so entertaining after
all. this pretty deception of hers. Down
iu Ids heart underneath the gallant ex-

Something was stinging her eyes fierce-

the tears of mortification.

"I fancy I have no right to criticise
