REPRESENTED JUMBO DISTRICT
IN TWENTY-FIRST LEGISLRTURE
What Hon AH H. H. Tolar Thinks of the Great Imperial
Remedy—Calls It a Wonderful Curative.
' AH H. H. Tolar is a name that is known through the length and
fereadth of Texas. Since 1870 when Mr. Tolar came to Texas his
Kiame has been coupled with the progress and upbuilding of the state.
Mr. Tolar represented the Jumbo district of West Texas in the twenty-
first legislature and served his district for two terms. He established
the Abilene Reporter and was editor of that paper for a number of
years. During the Civil War he served as captain of Company K.
Eighteenth North Carolina Troop serving with much honor during the
lour years of war. Mr. Tolar is now established in the real estate
business in this city and the large business he has built up tells the
fetory of another success in his latest venture.
About 10 year ago Mr. Tolar contracted a very severe case of
Eczema. Every known remedy for the cure of this disease was tried
to no avail. Physicians were consulted. Waters of different health
resorts were tried but nothing gave him more than temporary relief.
East month Mr. Tolar began using Imperial Remedy and his letter
[which follows tells the whole story. Read it carefullv and then if von
F re still doubtful call on Mr. Tolar and hear him tell how he was cured.
June 24s 1905.
Imperial Medicine Co.. Houston. Texas.
Gentlemen: I have suffered from Eczema for 10 years
have tried every known remedy without anything but a very
brief temporary relief until my attention was called to your
remedy three weeks ago: I then bought a bottle and up to
one week ago had used three bottles with result that I am
about cured. I feel sure that with one more bottle I will be •
permanently cured and feel that it is a duty I owe sufferers
from Eczema to make this statement without any solicitation
from any one to do so.
Your remedy is wonderful and should be in every house-
hold. Yours truly Ah' H. H. Tolar

MME. EAMES' FAVORITE ROLE.
In each of the roles I portray I try
to follow out one line of character on
which the various scenes are em-
broidered as it were. I may safely say
that of all the operas I now sing. I
enjoy most “Tosca." It gives a per-
fect and unhampered field for expres-
sion. as the words and music are so
absolutely at one. With all its apparent
difficulties it also rests me nervously
to sing it. because it deals with the
directly uttered and untrammeled pri-
mitive emotions. —Mme. Emma Eames

said that bv the aid of the wireless

yet some are still inclined to doubt
the practicality of it and Mr Burns
states that it fs quite successful and
entirely practical. He states that the

ers can keep in touch with everything
that is going on in the world as it will
then be even easier to telegraph than
now.
Mr. Burns also told of the manner
in which deep “ea telephones are used
these phones after being sunk in the
water indicating the presence of ice-
bergs or other ships within a radius
of twenty-five to thirty imles thus
preventing collission at sea.
