CARS IN "DREAMLAND" ATTRAC-
TION LEAVE TRACK MAIM-
ING OCCUPANTS.
New York July 16.—Filled with
sixteen pleasure seeking passengers
a two car train in the "Great Divide"
one of the "Dreamland” attractions at
Coney Island jumped the track last
night while shooting at high speed
around a curve in a dark tunnel un-
der the staff mountains. All were
badly shaken up and the majority of
them were bruiset and sustained
sprains.
The cause of the accident which
was one of the most serious at Coney
Island in several years is not known.
On a curve in one of the darkest
places on the miniature mountain rail-
way route the car left the track
pitching against the wall of the tun-
nel. Most of the pleasure seekers
were thrown out.
Following the accident was a play
of the electrical current from the third
rail that threw the panic stricken
passengers Into wilder fright.
The accident caused so much ex-
citement that the reserves had to be
called out to handle the crowd. None
of the injured it is beiieved is fatally
hurt.

Tokio July 16.—The news of the ar-

in the act of sketching a fort which
is totally discredited here and would
ordinarily have invited angry com-
ments against the sburce of informa-
tion. is quietly left without editorial
comments in the leading Japanese pa-
pers.
The explanation of this attitude may
be sought in the fact that despite the
war talk which is being transmitted
here from America the impression
continues to prevail that the friendly
relation existing between the United
States and Japan is too deep rooted
to be destroyed by anti-Japanese senti-
ment. which however loudly voiced
is known to be limited to a small sec-
tion.
There is more Catarrh in this sec-
tion of the country than all other als-
eases put together and until the last
few years was supposed to be incur-
able. For a great many years doc-
tors pronounced it a local disease and
prescribed local remedies and bv
constantly failing to cure with local
treatment pronounced it incurable.
Science has proven catarrh to be a
constitutional disease and therefore
requires constitutional treatment.
Hall’s Catarrh Cure manufactured by
F. J. Cheney f- Co.. Toledo. Ohio Is
the only constitutional cure on the
market. It is taken internally in
doses from in drops to a teaspoonful.
It acts directly on the blood and mu-

Houston Tex July 16.—As the re-
sult of a dream of Miss Ella Pavne
Dunlap a member of a house party
from Palestine Tex at the old Beas-
Jy home on the shores of Galveston
bay which is identical with the
dream of Dr. John Beasley twenty
years ago members of the Beasley
family believed the treasure of La-
fitte the pirate is about to be dis-
covered.
The Beasley homestead was aban-
doned years ago but nas been recent-
ly fitted up for house parties.
Years ago Dr. Beasley dreamed La-
fitte appeared to him at night tell-
ing him the treasure lay buried be-
neath the old building. Dr. Beasley
paid no attention to the dream but
an identical apparition appeared and
sat upon the foot-of Miss Dunlap’s
bed and Dr. Beasley heard of it be
at once took steps to investigate.
Banker McKay of Laporte has con-
tracted to finance investigation upon
shares and from what is known of
Lafitte's rendezvous the Beasley fam-
ily strongly believes that treasure or
a part of it will be at last located.

treated cannot be successful.
A genuine food for the Brain is Grape-Nuts. “Why” someone asks. Analysis
of Grape-Nuts will show Phosphate of Potash as found in wheat and barley of which the
food is made.
This Phosphate combines with Albumen and water in the human body and builds the
soft gray filling of the nerves and brain cells; then again the food is easy of digestion be-
cause it is cooked at the factories in such a manner as to transform the starch of the
wheat and barley into a form of sugar to be seen under a strong glass on each granule 01
Grape-Nuts.
This sugar was not “put on” or poured over but exudes during the process of cook*
ing and is really the starch .turned to sugar and ready to be absorbed into the blood.
So with Grape-Nuts we have the food with the right things Nature demands for
Brain-building and we also have a food easy of digestion.
Make the trial it s worth the while. It’s a profound demonstrable truth.

DEATH VISION
PROVES TRUTH
CLERGYMAN WHILE ASLEEP SEES
FATHER DIE 3000 MILES AWAY.
LETTER ATTESTS IT.
New York July 16. —What appears
to be a remarkable psychical expe-
rience has just been undergone it is
stated by Rev. Henry Rollings now
taking a special course in the New
York homeopatric medical college in
that saw as in a vision the death
of his father although 3000 miles sep-
arated and son at the time.
Moreover the death bed scene as
the young clergyman saw it in his
mind's eye was corroborated in every
detail in a letter two weeks later.
Rev. Mr. Rollings describing hi 3
experience says that after a particu-
larly arduous day he threw hints:!!
on his bed exhausted and fell into a
sleep from which he was awakened
by a vivid picture tu which he saw
his father as distinctly as he ever
saw him in his life and heard him
call "my boy my boy I am dying.”
He also says the family except a sis-
ter who it afterwards developed v.as
ill at the bedside.
that they cannot evade the law .and
that its provisions as to passenger
traffic will be carried out to the let-
ter.
A large force of customs officers in-
spected every excursion boat in the
harbor on Sunday with the result that
fifteen passenger carrying boats were
put out of commission and tied up
at their piers for disobeying the law.
It was found that some of the mas-
ters did not even have licenses. More-
over hundreds of persons were ob-
liged to disembark from vessels be-
cause the vessels were overcrowded.

Brains
Any man or woman with little trouble and less
expense can make an interesting experiment on Brains.
We all naturally desire to be considered “brainy”
—“intellectual”
The Brain and nerves are fed or hurt by the food
put into the stomach. If that food contains the right
elements and digestion and assimilation are perfect
the Brain will act in the sanest clearest manner.
If improper indigestible food is taken eaten with
nervous haste and in excessive quantities the digest-
ive organs cannot convert it entirely into real
sustenance and it lies in the stomach too long and
decays.
“Decay” means that bacteria begins to work and
these living organisms produce toxic or poisonous
matter which is quickly absorbed with what little
food has been digested and carried into the blood.
This poisoned blood goes to the Brain as well as
* elsewhere and the Brain with all its connecting
nerves being the most sensitive tissues of the body—-
the seat of thought and execution of the same—is
acted upon the same as when alcohol or any other
poison is taken only in different degree.
unable to think clearly and promptly—anything but
