Charles Powell 49 years of age.
died at the city hospital this morn-
ing from chronic malaria. He was a
wire worker by occupation and had
lived here three years. He was in the
hospital two weeks.

kel took place this afternoon at 3
o'clock from the family residence 133
West Craig Place Laurel Heights.
The funeral was largely attended and
there were many beautiful floral trib-
utes from sorrowing relatives and
friends. Impressive services were con-
