I CORSETS
IN just two weeks we
have convinced thou-
sands of women and a
host of skeptical physicians
and hygienists that these new
corsets will do all we claim.
It was a good deal to ask
women to believe that any
corset will reduce the figure
permanently. But our new
corset is simply the success-
ful application of well-known
physiological laws.
You know how the deft
fingers of a skilled masseuse
soften the fat so that it is
absorbed and removed bj’
natural processes.
The ingenious new con-
struction of these newest
Nemo Corsets docs exactly
the same thing; only you
don’t notice it —you just feel
stylish and comfortable and
you see your figure gradually
getting smaller. Two models:

For STOUT FIGURES
and suitable also for women
of medium form. A superb
STYLE corset saying noth-
ing of its power to reduce the
figure PERMANENTLY.
A great value simply as a
CORSET. You must SEE
it —and TRY it.

Mrs. Ewton Tells Her Story And
Hopes Other Sufferers Will
Do As Well.
Pine Bluff Ark. —"For nearly nine
years” says Mrs. M. E. Ewton of this
city "I had been almost down with
womanly troubles and at times I
could scarcely be about at all or do
anything.
I took different kinds of medicines
without any benefit.
I had a pain in my side that It
seemed impossible to relieve.
I used six bottles of Cardul and
now I feel like a different person. I
am getting along fine. I can do any
kind of work!
Cardul was the only thing that
helped me. It is the beat remedy I
know for run down .women. I hope
other sufferers will take Cardul and
be benefited as I have.”
Do you suffer from some of the dis-
agreeable symptoms of womanly
trouble? Let CarcJUl help you back
to health and strength as It did Mrs.
Ewton.
Cardul has a record of over 50
years successful use to recommend it.
Composed of strictly vegetable ingre-
dients. imported especially from Eu-

It is a natural condition that a firm handling the volume of busi-

Stock taking just finished has revealed to us the necessity oi
clearing out over fifty new and used pianos. This we intend tc
accomplish this week by simply making each piano an irresistabk

MS PRODUCT IS
MISBRANDED “VINEGAR”
State Asks That Eighteen Barrel* Be
Condemned and Either Destroyed
or Sold nt Once.
Suit to condemn and either de-
stroy or sell IS barrels of vinegar al-
leged to be misbranded in that they
are branded “Blend Monogram Vine-
gar” when as asserted the vinegar Is
simply dilute acetic acid was filed this
morning in the Forty-fifth district
court by Tom J. Newton county at-
torney against A. L. Dletzer alleged
to have the product in his possession
and to be offering It for sale.
The petition on behalf of the state
recites that Dletzer has 18 barrels of a
product labelled "Blend —Monogram
Vinegar—R. M. Hughes & Co. Louis-
ville Kentucky." It Is then set out
that "said .blend monogram vinegar
has been by defendant offered for sale
and exposed for sale and is held by
him and controlled by him with In-
tent to sell. Plaintiff further alleges
that said blend monogram vinegar is
misbranded in that It consists In whole
and In part of dilute acetic acid col-
ored in Imitation of apple vinegar."
The state asks that the food product
be declared adulterated and that a
court order be issued to dispose of it
ether by sale or destruction.

"IN A CLOSED MOUTH

Emilio Vasquez Gomez Refuses to
Comment on Rumor That Za-

“In- a cloned mouth will enter nd

This Is the answer mode by Emlilo
Vasquez Gomez erstwhile minister of
gobernaoion for Mexico to the rumor
that Emiliano Zapata now defying
the Mexican government In the moun-
tains of Morelos was fighting for him.
Private advices received here stated
that Zapata had told several that he
waa on the warpath for Vaaquez
Gomez.
"Tell them I am dead. Tell them I
have nothing to say. Tell them I will
not comment in any manner on the
subject ” said Mr. Vasques Gomez
when seen at his residence 501 South
Presa. He then repeated the Mexican
proverb: “En bom cerrada no entran
moscas." (”lh a closed Inouth will
enter no flies.”)
Mr. Vasques Gomez was told that
his failure to deny Zapata's statement
might be taken by his enemies as In-
dicating that Zapata told the truth.
He was urged to confirm or deny the
dls«patoh tihus quieting suspicion.
"Well they believe one thing today
and another thing tomorrow.” hei
said. "They are always believing
something new concerning me. Let
them believe what they will. I am un-
concerned.
“And then he continued “they are
spying on mo all the time. Men are
constantly watching my movements
nnd watching all who speak with me.
t have no doubt but what some one
Is now watching me speak with you
and Is curious to know If we are not
plotting another revolution.”
"Whose spies are they?” he was
asked. ... ... ... .
“I don't know.” he replied. "I be-
lieve they are Don Panchito’s.”
