With deep sorrow we take up
our pen to chronicle the event*
of our community for the past
week.
It ban pleased (>od in His
wisdom to permit the death an-
gel to visit our community again
and take away two loving chil-
dren.
Kmil Kristof, the youngest
son of Mrs. Marie Kristof, died
at his home Thursday, March
2b. 1903, after a lingering illness
of ten months.
He was born here September
24. 1886. He leaves a widowed
mother, one sister and live
brothers to mourn his death.
He was buried Friday at Cbries-
man Chapel.
Hardly had the friends of the'
deceased reached their homes |
after the funeral when little,
Cecilie Blinka, the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. J. Blinka, died at
their home near Hogg, in the
thirteenth year of her age.
Her remains were buried Sat-
urday at the new burial ground
near the San Antonio school.
Both were affectionate and du-,
tiful children, and they leave a
host of friends to mourn their i
demise.
We extend our deepest sym-
pathy to the bereaved families
in their affliction, and trust that
time, the healer of all sorrows,
will eventually leave nothing but
pleasant memories of their once
happy childhood. A Fkum).
