attorney in Amarillo and sub-
sequently sued the city.
Taylor said later that he was not
terminated, but left the city office to
go into private practice. As a private
attorney, he represented clients who
sued that city, he added, but he in-
stigated no legal action on his own
behalf
Taylor has served in various city
legal offices and the state attorney
general's office and was student legal
adviser at NTSU prior to ad-
ministrative changes that eliminated
the position.
