the buying of groceries because you think prices may be
lower later on is foolish in these times.
Get on Board
the prosperity wagon, by buying all the groceries you can
now and you’ll be a whole lot ahead of the one who waits
till later on. And of course your purchase should be made

"No amount of diplomacy on the
part of those most interested avails
to keep matters affecting United
States Senator Joseph W. Bailey and
his friends fromo being forced into
pretty nearly everything that goes on
or is likely to go on about Austin
during the legislative session. The
Bailey issue,' as it has come to be
known in Texas politics, is entering
into the speakership contest in spite
of the efforts of all the leaders and
their campaign managers to prevent
it. It is a part of the prohibition and
anti-prohibition fight. It has its influ-
ence in the office of the retiring gov-
ernor. It will occupy room in the
chambers of the incoming executive,
i is heard in the attorney general’s
department and the office of the comp-
troller. All of them cry peace, but
there is no peace and shrewd observers
do not anticipate any tranquility .in
the state capital or throughout the
state during years to come, or till the
utter elimination of either one faction
or the other
