The Wadsworth Home Demonstra-
tion Club was to have met Friday,
May 11 with Mrs. W H. Mangum.
The second lesson on county govern-
ment and a pickle demonstration was
to be given also plans completed for
raising funds to send a delegate to A.
& M. short course in July. Mrs. Man-
gum and the reporter were present.
Not an officer nor the ones to con-
duct the lesson were there. Saturday,
the reporter was informed there was
to have been a meeting somewhere
Friday, May 18 but heard nothing
from it.
The next meeting will be Friday,
June 4 at the home of Mrs. J. J.
Ottis. Plans for county rally are to

ing down his form was recovered and

lowed to the cemetery where he was
laid for his last long sleep. A more

One of the very nicest school music-
al plays was presented by the Mata-
gorda grammar school Friday eve-
ning, May 18 in the school auditori-
um and was highly praised by the
large audience. The scenery and stage
settings were designed by the sev-
enth grade. The title was “Under the
Sea." The first scene was the bottom
of the sea, the second scene, a sandy
beach. The cast of characters repre-
