Seventy-two years of age, but
still in possession of the priceless
boon of good health and actively
on the job with the Central Ver
mont Railroad, where he has work-
ed for 40 years, is the remarkable
record of H. H. Moore, 24 Messen-
ger St., Albans, Vt., who attributes
his present health and strength to
the use of TANLAC.
“I, have never in my life seen
the equal of TANLAC,” said Mr.
Moore recently. “After spending a
lot of money on things that proved
worthless for stomach trouble of
the most obstinate kind, TANLAC
made me feel like an entirely dif-
ferent man. - For nearly two years
I had been gradually getting worse,
and my strength and vitality had
got so low it was hard for me to
attend to my duties. Indigestion,
constipation, and nervousness made
life miserable before I found TAN-

and I feel happy as I work. I
shall always be grateful to TAN-

Not only does your gas meter accurately register the
volume of gas passing through your line, but it will in-
dicate to you whether or not there is leakage in your
connections or fittings. Observe the dial pictured above
which is similar to the one on your meter. The arrow-
points to the small dial that is used for testing pur-,
poses.
To find out whether there is leakage in your con-
nections and fittings, turn off all gas in the house, be-
ing sure.that all burners are tightly closed, including
the pilot flame under your water heater. Then ob-
serve the small dial as indicated by the arrow. If the
hand on this testing dial moves a leak in your con-
nections inside the house is indicated, and should be
found and stopped.
Never search for a gas leak in your house with a
lighted match, or candle. It is very dangerous to do
so. Apply soap suds to the suspected leaky joints and
if there is leakage there it may readily be detected by
the bubbles.
Rubber hose stove connections are frequent sources
of trouble. They should be frequently examined and
when a stove is turned off the gas should always be
stopped at the pipe connection and not at the other
end of the rubber tubing.
