Chesley Boyd Hurt
In Fall Sept. 5
Chesley Boyd is improving
after a fall from the high hay
loft in his barn September 5.
His hay hook pulled out of the
bale of hay causing him to lose
balance and fall to a landing
half way down. Then he fell 10
| ft. further to the ground, sus.
taining cuts, bruises, abrasions,
and a compression fracture of
the first lumbar vertebrae.
| He was in shock and pain sev-
eral days but has improved so
that he will be fitted with a
brace this week. He may be able
to come home this weekend,
from the Bellville Hospital.
