Special Olympians hosted with luncheon

In celebration of their Special
Olympics participation at College
Station on April 21, the Comets of
Austin County were treated to a
special athletes sports luncheon at
Tony’s Restaurant Thursday after-
noon, April 27. Their families, ed-
ucators and sponsors and other
adults also attended. The meal was
complimentary for the special ath-
letes as a courtesy of the restaurant

sored by the Austin County Special
Education Booster Club, which is
headed by Cheryl Robertson as
president, George Gaston, vice pres-
ident, and Marlene Leiber, treasurer.
They presented each boy and girl
