PARIS (UPD - A nearsellout crowd booed Monday night
when actress Shirley MacLaine’s show was delayed by an
hour - then cheered when she popped from behind the.
curtain and yelled that it wasn’t her fault.

Pilot Drops in cut
SANTA BARBARA. Calif (UPD - Ronald Reagans
ranch has its food and bad points at a site for a crash lan
ding, as glider pilot Stan Buller discovered.
Disadvantages: It’s mountainous and somewhat secluded.
Advantage: Ranches owned by presidential candidates are
patrolled by the Secret Service.
Buller. 52, had been soaring for about two hours Sunday on
“a beautiful day when I made a mistake " The mistake was
to glide into a thick cloud and lose his bearings.
He smashed into trees on Santa Ynez Peak. Buller was not
injured seriously..
Secret Service agents at the Reagan ranch, who overheard
a notice on sheriff’s radio frequencies about Bullers
disappearance, launched a search and found him hiking
about eight miles from the wreck.
