COM ML NITY Council of Denton County will meet at 4p m
for a tour at the North Texas State University Union
Building Members should meet on the west side of the third
level at the reservation desk
DENTON County United Way report and cabinet meeting
will begin at 4p m at Western State Bank Community Room

will meet at 7:30 p m in First State Bank Green Room
Buddy Camper, editor and publisher of the Allen American,
w ill speak on "Reporting Community Affairs for Small-Town
Weeklies"; members are urged to attend and bring a friend

STONEWALL Jackson Elementary School Parent-
Teacher Association will sponsor a Halloween carnival in the
school cafeteria, beginning with a meal at 6 p m The bar-
becue burger dinner will cost $1: drinks will be 20 cents, and
games 10 to 20 cents. The event will close at 9 p m
GINNINGS Elementary School carnival will be held at the
school from 6:30 to 9 p.m. A hot dog supper will be offered;
children are encouraged to dress in costumes
SINGLES Association of Denton County will open the
clubhouse, corner of Stuart Road and Hercules, for jukebox
dancing and socializing from 8:30 pm until midnight
Singles over age 21 are welcome

DENTON -State School Volunteer Council will sponsor a
Halloween carnival at the state school gym from 8:30 a.m. to
4 pm Booths and refreshments’will be offered, and a North
Texas State University lab band will play for the evening's
