$83,678.24 as its October share of the
local option 1 percent sales tax — a 9
percent increase over last year.
The combined revenue of all Texas
cities collecting the sales tax for
October was $22.2 million, pushing
1979 payments to date to more than
$364.6 million, compared to $329.9
million paid to Texas cities during the
same 10-month period in 1978, ac-
cording to SQTATE Comptroller Bob
