Having thus described my invention, I
claim-
1. The combination of the bent axle having
the curved vertical portion a', the supporting-
5 wheels, the draft-bar C, secured to the axle,
the trail-wheel at the rear end of the draft-bar,
the bracket G, secured to the front end of the
draft-bar, the plow-beam pivoted at its front
end to the bracket G, and bearing against the
ro portion a' of the axle and sliding vertically
thereon,and means for raising and lowering the
plow-beam and the plow attached to the plow-
beam, said plow working in rear of one of the
supporting- wheels, substantially as described.
15 2. The combination of the bent axle having
the curved vertical portion a', the supporting-
wheels, the brace-rods H, secured to the axle,
the slotted bracket G, secured to the brace-
rods, the draft-bar C, secured at its front end
20 to thebracketby abolt, C', that passes through
the slot in the bracket, said draft-bar being
secured to the axle and adapted tobe adjusted
laterally thereon, the trail-wheel in rear of the
draft-bar, the plow-beam pivoted to bracketG and bearing against portion a' of the axle, 25
the plow attached to the beam and working
in rear of one of the supporting-wheels, and
means for raising and lowering the plow, sub-
stantially as described.
3. The combination of the bent axle having 30
the vertical curved portion a', the draft-bar C,
secured to the axle, the plow-beam pivoted at
its front end to a bracket secured to the draft-
bar, rack k, secured to the plow-beam, pinion
mA, secured to the axle and engaging with the 35
rack, sprocket-wheel M on the shaft with pin-
ion m, sprocket-wheelr, journaled above wheel
M and having a crank, and the endless
sprocket-chain connecting the wheels r and M,
substantially as described. 40
