- Content Description: Patent for a gage that has a beam with a saw kerf at one end, a clamp made up of a tube with parallel wings that are inserted into the kerf, a scribing point in the tube, "and means for clamping the separated ends of the beam tightly against the parallel wings of the clamp" (lines 57-59).
