Description

Patent for "a new and useful construction of barge having simple and powerful means for raising ships and vessels to a sufficient height so that the same may readily be carried through the water over shallow places or bars, and the barge is also equipped with means for being propelled through the water to carry a ship or vessel, and also for being propelled over a track, so as to act as a combined locomotive and ship-car when carrying a ship or vessel over dry land."
