Brethren Ladies
Meet
An unusual surprise awaited the
feothren Ladies when they were en-
tertained by Mrs. John Krenak Wed-
nesday afternoon.
The reception rooms were very at-
tentively decorated with pink pot
i and ferns and a dainty bas-
of pansies on the library table
_ much to the artistic decorations.
After an interesting discussion of
itp ninth chapter of Matthews, and
«life* end of the business hour, Gladys
Mafca in a lovely pink dress came in
•Kiting a clever poem revealing the
iMt> that this entertainment was not
mif a social club meeting, but also
pa announcement of the marriage of
Miss Anna Rosa Krenek to Mr. Vine
Rilrsr in May.
As Miss Anna Rosa accepted the
congratulations extended her by the
■Mtnbers and friends, she looked love-
ly in her charming gown of pink
georgette. A novelty pearl necklace
and a beautiful silk lace scarf com-
pleted her attire.
Delicious refreshments carrying out
4he pink color scheme, which pre-
dominated the in all other decorations,
ware served by the hostess.
The next meeting will be held at
the home of Mrs. J. W. Skrabanek.
Aa Raster sale of sabes, pies, etc. will
he sponsored by the Brethren
Missionary Society the Saturday be-
fare Raster.

Why SWP cmK leas •
yomr house thmm any
other paint
What will it coat to paint your house? This is what concerns
70a — not what the paint coats per gallon.
While fine old SWP corta more per gallon, it costs less on
your home than any otheé paint Why? Because one gallon
of SWP will thoroughly bunt almost twice as much surface
as a gallon oí cheaper jfa&nL. Therefore fewer gallons of
SWP are needed.
So — ignoring the fact that SWP lasts twee as lone as
cheaper paint, and that its weatherproof colors retain their
beauty to the very last —the first cost of painting your
house with the world's best house paint is actually less than
that of cheaper paint. Buy your paint on a job basis and
save. Let us prove it to you by simple arithmetic.

SWP House Paint SUGGESTIONS
The world's standard of house
paint quality. SWP is made in one
quality only and that the very best.
Famous for long life and the
permanency of its many beautiful
colors. Covers more square feet of
surface per gallon. Costs lesa on
the house than cheapcr paúits at a
lower price per galkm.

"SAVUALL" Cash Grocery Store
An Independent Store
There is a lot of talk «bout the chain stores in the
country and elsewhere. To. my friends and customers, I
would like to explain the difference between the home
owned, cash store and the, foreign owned chain stc res.
•
First, the foreign own^d chain stbrcs are people
conning into you* town, most of whom have 'their head-
quarters in Wall Street. They pay U?:es fou our
schools, they check money from our banks, and do not
support enterprise in our city and county. When you con-
sider our home owned cash stores, you will find they are
the same as the independent merchant, who own their
own homes and other property, who pay taxes for our
schools, county and city, who keep money in the h-me
banks, who are home people, therefore, do not confuse
the home owned cash stores with the foreign owned
chain stores.
For your information why the Savitall can save you
money on groceries: First, 1 buy for cash and sell for
cash. Second, I have no delivery, therefore, you can save
on every article you buy. All I ask is a visit and you will
convince yourself.
Bring your chickens and eggs. I will pay you the
market price.
