Play Night At School
Again This Season
The Caldwell PTA will again
sponsor a play night once each
week during the vacation period
starting on June 6th and running
through August 16th for the
children of Caldwell and surround-
ing communities. The Friday nit >s
of each week will be used for this
purpose. A number of games will
be offered each week for the
children to play. A group of par-
ents will :>t on hand each Friday
night to rponsor the group com-
ing to the Caldwell Gymnasiun..
The entertainment will start at
7:30 and close at 11 o'clock. Soda
water and candy will be offered
for sale to help defray expenses.
Albert Weeber
Passes Away At
Cook's Point
Burleson County Fanner
Had Been III For
Several Months
Albert G. Weeber, 50, farmer
in the Cook's Point community
died in St. Francis Hospital in
Brenham, Tuesday afternoon at
:t:10 after an illness of several
months.
Born February 16, 1902 at
Rocky Hill near Brenham, Albert
was the son of William and
(Catherine Weeber. He came to
Burleson County with his parent*
in 1904 and resided near Snook
for several years before moving
to the Weeber home at Cook's
Point.
In early childhood the deceased
was converted and joined the
Cook's Point Methodist church,
where he attended regularly. Al-
though he never assumed a par-
ticular leadership part in his
i'.u¡rch; he always served in a
quiet manner of a true Christian.
Mr. Weeber loved his home and
