petitioner, alleging that, *uid Sinclair on
the first day of January, A- D., JSiJl , for it
valuable conslderation, made, executed
and delivered to petitioner hi* certain)
promissory note, fur too sum of two hund-
red and thirty-tlve dollars, binding h¡m*o|f
and promising to pay «aid sum to the order
of petitioner, nix uinnths alter the daté
"thereof, with interest thereon, at the rate
of ten per cent per annum. r
That previously, to wit; on tho SiOth
D"cember, 188U, the said defendant, for a
valuable consideration, made, executed and
delivered to plaintiff hi* certain other pro-
mi*sury note, for the sum of one hundred
and fifty dollars, binding himself and pr<
mi*i g to pay said huiii to the order of
plaintiff, eigiit. mo'ith* after the date ol
said note, wit It iiiterestthoreon, at the rate
of ten per cent per annum; that said two
notes, marked "A," and "B," are attached
to said petition a* a part thereof; that *aid
two note* are due and unpaid, to plaintiff*
damage five hundred dollars. Whewfore
he srtes, and pray* that said defendant be
cite! to appear and answer said potition ;
that upon the hearing, he may have judg-
ment against defendant for the amount of
said note*, principal and interest; and for
general relief. And affidavit having been
