Sale of Town, Building: and
Farming Lots.
IN the town of Caddoville, on the 13tli day of
June. 1851, on the west side of the Brazos
river, eight miles below the great falls, in the
county of Falls, will be offered for sale at public
auction, in and around the town of Caddoville,
the farming lots consist of desirable tracts, many
of them having a front on the Brazos river.
This section ot country 1 deem unnecessary to
give a discription, as it is well known to be infe-
rior to none in the State, in point of soil, timber
and water. The town tract is situated on a
beautiful bluff, covered with groves of timber:
the town tract conists of 1022 acres. The cele-
brated Cad co Springs water the tract, which for
purity and health cannot be surpassed by any in
the State. All doubts are now removed in regard
to the navigation of the Brazos river to this
point, when steamboats ascend to Washington.
A ferry aud ware-house will, in a short time, be
established at the crossing, and the road comple-
ted, which is one mile and a half on a direct
line from Austin to Springfield The proprie-
tor will make liberal donations to the different
denominations for churches and schools. Terms:
one-fourth in cash, balance at six and twelve
months credit, at the rate of ten per cent, per
annum, secured by securities and mortgagi.
Titles indisputable and will be exhibited on the
day of sale.
Headlight certificates will be taken in
payment, at cash valuation.
1 i T. T. BAILEY, or
$ J. J. TURNHAM, ag.
pi. B.—The candidates for Governor, Lieut
Governor, Congress and G.L. Commissioner, are
solicited by the proprietor to attend on the day
of sale, at the town of Zoa and .Caddoville.
