Captain Ragsdale this morning re-
ceived from the division officer of the
Salvation Army notice to hold his fare-
well service in Orange on Sunday, Au-
gust 23, ad to hold himself and fam-
ily in readiness to leave for their new
post oh the following Wednesday. No
sucoesftor has as yet been appointed,
nor has Captain Ragsdale been noti-
fied as to where bis new .post will be.
At the Salvation meeting last night
there were three conversions.
Saturday night of this week there
will be a swearing In of Junior sol-
diers. Theré have been quite a num-
ber of young people converted by the
Army nere and a number of them will
take the obligation of the Salvation-
ists at this time.
