Another large crowd was on the
streets last night ,and as the carnival
was going in full swing there was
something doing for some one all the
while, and the crowd lingered until
practically every amusement place on
the grounds was ready to close for
the flight. ' fi ' ' M
As a whole, the attractions are a
little better than the average carnival,
though there is a scarcity of "attrac-
tions. All of the sliows were well pat-
ronised, and the concession stands did
a good business. 7 |

good natured and full of enjoyment,
many finding pleasure to the novelties
of the concession stands or the num-
erous raffles .being' held-
The ban which was placed on the
sale of confetti was removed and there
were several stands selling the Var-
ious colored bits Of paper. The au-
thorities/ however, state that as long
as cppfettl is thrown ih the proper
manner and not picked up from the
streets or sidewalks, that its use will
he allowed to continue, but any one
found guilty of picking It up from
the groftnd will be subjected to a very
heavy fine.
