The ."one crop" idea must be driven out of
the heads of the rice farmers, just as Tt has.been
out of the cotton farmers. When rice' farmers
generally recognize the fact that they can raise
other small crops in addition to their ricé and
thus save big feed bills then will they begin to
majke more money out of the business.
Orange has led a strenuous life during the
past week, with its Carnival attractions, parades,
theaters, balls, and other amuseihents. Well, if
a person can't be happy and good natured iff
Orange there is no place on earth where he can.

Santa claus has established numerous head-
quarters in Orange and has left a big stock at
each place for the convenience of bis able, lieu-
tenants and if the desires of the little folks are
not satisfied this year it will not be his fault.

to be given at the Methodist
church Saturday night is not
exclusively for the. Methodist
Sunday School, but the public
generally is invited to partici-
