Lawton old-timer wins All-Aro
Jack Stuckey of Lawton, Ok-
lahoma, won the Ail-Around
Cowboy title and the trophy
saddle at the annual Gayton
Hill Memorial Old Timers Ro-
deo here Sunday afternoon as
the fourth annual Old Timers
event wound up its biggest-ever
performances.
More than five hundred sep-
arate entries were on the books
for the show this year, according
to Rodeo Secretary Karen
Krehbiel...topping last year's
big list of more than 300.
Crowds were good, even for
the Saturday morning "slack."
and weather was near perfect
for the contests at the arena.
Stuckey won the bareback
bronc riding, and also teamed
with Ray Norton of Lawton to
win the team roping in the
40-to-50 year old division,

10.71 seconds. Ely Wallace of

Abilene was 2nd, and Darrel
Phillips of Conejos. Colorado,

Tatum, Oklahoma, won in 5:52
seconds. Ernie Johnson of Ok-
