FOR WORKING PEOPLE
The best of workers get out of
sorts when the liver fails to act.
They feel languid, half-sick, "blue"
and discouraged and think they
are getting lazy. Neglect of these
symptoms might result in a sick
spell, therefore the sensible course
is to take a dose or two of Herbine.
It is just the medicine needed to
purify the system and restore the
vim and ambition of health.

CATARRHAL DEAFNESS
is often caused by an inflamed condition
of the mucous lining: of the Eustachian
Tube. When this tube is inflamed you
have a rumbling sound or imperfect
hearing. Unless the inflammation can
be reduced, your hearing may be de-
stroyed forever.
HALL'S CATARRH MEDICINE will
do what we claim for it—rid your system
of Catarrh or Deafness caused by
Catarrh. HALL'S CATARRH MEDICINE
has been successful in the treatment of
Catarrh for over Forty Years.

Cars Running Too Fast
The speeding situation needs
to be looked into by the strong
arm of the law, not only looked
into but some strong action taken
which will break it up. Especial-
ly bad are the delivery boys, and
some of the Jelly Beans. The
officers know who they are.
Several people have very narrow-
ly escaped death within the past
few days by these "nuts" driv-
ing.
The thing is some one is going
to be killed, the driver of the car
will not be as much to blame as
the officers of the law who fail
to inforce the laws on the
books. Some negros also have
the habit of hitting it up fast, if
they accidently kill some little
baby boy or girl a probab'e
lynching will take place, who will
be to blame? The officers for not
correcting this evil while there
yet is time. After an accident
happens its too late for that
victim,to arrest drivers.
Perhaps we all speed at times,
if so, we should all be arrested
and when we are and pay a tine
we will keep a better watch on
our speed thereafter.
We don't want to be hard oi
unreasonable buteveryone knows
what we are writting is the
truth and needs remedyng the
worst kind. We would suggest
the Council appoint a traffic of
ficer who will work strictly on a
commission basis to arrest the
speeders and traffic violators,
provided the present force don't
have time to attend to this.
Let every speeder and especial-
ly you boys consider that the
people walking have as much or
even more right upon the street
crossing than you have in your
cars.
On Being A Home-
Town Booster
This paper believes in Schu-
lenburg and Schulenburg's fu-
ture. It believes that Schulen-
burg is destined to be a much
greater city than it is today. It
believes that the great majority
)f people living in Schulenburg
bave abiding faith in the city's
future and in the Schulenburg of
today. It is this faith that has
made Schulenburg and it is this
same faith that is going to con-
tinue to make Schulenburg a
greater city.
No one need talk of "putting
Schulenburg on the map." For,
all the world knows, it is already
on the map; it has had a conspicu-
ous place there for many years
And it is going to remain there-
forever.
Schulenburg is already a great
place in which to live. If one
were to look all around the world,
none better could be found.
When everything is considered'
no one can honestly say that
any other town is a better place
than this.
For that reason, if you have
any money to invest, invest it in
Schulenburg. It is safer at
bome than it is any place else.
Keep out of the clutches of the
oily-tongued stock salesman who
comes from a distance and wants
your money to invest in an enter-
prise, the merit of which you
unow nothing save what is told
you by the man or men seeking
