The 50 per cent freight re-
duction on feed stuff shipped in-
to the drouoh stricken area is
now in tffect. Tne reduction ap
plies on shipments originating
in Texas. Shipments must
come through banks within the
area effected, which banks upon
application are designated to act
in the matter, by The Federal
Reserve Bank of Dallas. All
banks are authorized to thus act
upon their application to the
Federal Reserve Bank, it being
the purpose to extend as laree
and convenient a service as pos-
sible no bank has a monopoly^or
exclusive privilege in the matter-
claims to the contrary notwith-
standing.
We will be glad to serve our
patrons and farmers generally
in this matter without charge
and any information or co opera-
tion will be cheerfully extended..
