Mr. Harris offered the following
amendment to Committee Amend-
ment No. 1:
Amend Senate Bill 237 by adding
a new sentence to Paragraph D of
Section 3, at line 8, page 3, Second
Printing, to read as follows:
In the addition to the aforenamed
state officers, the air pollution con-
trol official of any county maintain-
ing an air pollution control section,
or an equivalent county facility creat-
ed to control air pollution, shall serve
as an ex-officio member of said board,
provided said air pollution control of-
ficial shall have been exclusively so
employed for at least 5 years, and
his services as ex-officio member of
the board will terminate only with
termination of his services by the
local facility.
Mr. Cavness moved to table the
above amnondment offered by Mr. Har-
ris.
A record vote was requested by
Representatives Braun, Vance, Ab-
raham and Harris.
