The revival nu'ctlng at Fair view con-
tinues to grow In Interest, tlie largest
crowd of the meeting being present at
Thursday night's service. The Key
Memorial orchestra was present which
was a big feature of the meeting. Rev.
Mark. N. Terrell announced that his
subject for Friday night would be
"Sin and Its Consequences." *
After the service there was one con-
version.
The text was taken from Luke 10:5,
and the sermon In part was as follows:
; "And when .Tesu* came to the place
Ho said unto him •SCaechnes, make
haste, and come down for today I must
abide ut thy house.' " Jesus was on
Ills way to Jericho at the time of His
tiiumphant entry. Upon His heart
lay Itertvlly the burden of a doomed
world. He had a tar sighted vision as
He looked over and out beyond the
human side of life. In studying, he
realized that that eventful hour soon
would be upon Him when He would
have to die for the sius of a doomfed
world. So He was on Ills way to
Jericho at the .time of his triumphaint
entry, going there for the last time be-
fore His ascension into Heaven, but
going back to God who sent Him. A
great multitude followed Him." He
was on His way to redeem a lost world,
but He heard'the cry of one sinner in-
dividually.'^ He heard the echo .of a
.warning ety in the heart of a man of
diminutive stature. He heard the
cry and stopped by the way tef save
one |S or lost soul. He was on His way
to redeem the world, but He lingered
sufficiently long to reach one lost soul.
tJieard Mr. M« «Kly%during one of his
griil rcvhal 'Stnpaigns iu Nashville
say one night 1* fore an audience of
six thousand. If I had ten thousand
sobls to save, I would save thm .ne at
a time.' Doubtless that many souls
were brought to Christ under the great
ministry of D. L. Moody.
- Jesus' Way
"This Is the way Jesus reached lost
men. Corning face 4o face with indivi-
duals and to Individuals as such He
told the message of eternal life. You
can Impress a man more effectively
by talking to him individually than by
talking to an audience, hence the su-
preme necessity of who those occupy-
the pews to carry the message to their
brothers and tell it to those with
whom they come In touch. Y^s, He
stopped by the way to Save one soul.
Doubtless thousands of men . needed
Him as liadly as Zaeehaeus. but He
went to Zaeehaeus to speak to him lo-
calise Zaeehaeus was ready to receive
the message. Suppose everybody in
U^'jui'tqipuuii^' jyjw* (.'hristlani^sayc
( ne iM'rsou. For that one is rson thfs
revival campaign would be worth while.
It would be worth while, not to run
the rest of the week, but the rest of
the year if necessary, to. reach that one
lost soul. He only stopped to have
the poor soul of Zaeehaeus, the pub-
lican; Zaeehaeus was standing there
face to face with the greatest fact'
the world has ever known, in the the
person of Jesus Christ. You may go
to. the silent cities of the dead and
erase all the Inscriptions on the tombs.
Yotv may make a bonfi^ of all > the
bibles in the world, and all the books
written from the bible or pertaining to
the bible. You may erase everything
tliat refers to the bible, but «yon would
not alter the unmistakable fact of the
Living Christ.•*
The evangelist brought out many
good thoughts iu his message.

arms," cried Janey. "When do I see
John to congratulate him?"
"Tonight. He's to bring my ring
and meet Jimmy, -uJ hope they'll like
each ofher. Will you let tne tell Jlmiuy
myself?"
4 "Of course. Trundle hi in down to
the rocks the moment ^ie gets home
and b^eak the news to him. •
So it happened, when Jimmy came
he was dragged protestingly ofT to the
rocks.
"You ought to.be glad to stroll along
tills beautiful shore with your only
niece, Jimmy Reed," Mona soothed,
"especially when she "has newa to tell."
"I can hear news Just as well at
home," he grumbled. "Oh, well, if you
must have a romantic spot to tell It,
let's sit down on this downy boulder
and watch those gulls enjoy their din-
ner, which la what 1 ahonld be doing.
Now r j
John Nason came awlftly along the
path abdv& the tumbled rocka where
they were sitting and glanced down
casually "at the pair, lovers, evidently.
Then he ftopped, stared, and went
white. For the young man took the
girl Into his arms and kissed her, and
the, with a laugh, cried, "Oh, Jimmy,!
you dear! I'm happier at this little
minute than I have ever been In my
whole life."
And that girl was Mona, the Mona
who only last evening had -tremulouaiy
promised to entrust her happiness to
him. John turned without a wM>rd"and
stumbled back oyer the path to fight a
night of misery.
• On the Reed porch the hours wore
on until even Mona gave up and went
In to dinner, where the gay hearts and
Cupids of Janey's Inspiration seemed
to droop despondently!
• Mona stayed bravely on for a month,
her pride intense, and then could bear
it no longer.
"Janey," she said one evening, when
a golden moon turned the sea to silver
and flooded the porch where they were
sitting, "I'm going tomorrow. . Helen
wants me with her for the autumn
months. And, Janey, will you explain
to 3M mg& He was,so dear when I
fold WrtP1 He klsaM me—don't he
jealous, it was a mere peck—and was
quite sentimental. I-—I can't bear to
tell him that I—I—'"
Blinding light flashed upon Janey.
Jimmy strolled out with his pipe.
^Ifs some night," he said. "What
d'you say If we take a stroll? You
might humor me, Janey. I don't often
ask to-be entertained . * r''
So the three atrolled along the wa-
ter's edge and tried to be gay. Toward
them came a tall figure In white'flan-
nels. and Janey took, her chance.
"Mr. Nason," she cried, advancing,
"we haven't seen you for ages. Don't
you ever play tennis any more?"
-"Why—er—*
"You've met our niece. Miss Lee, I
believe," continued she, "but J don't
think you've > met my husband. Mr.
Nason—Mr. Reed."
-John Nason, about to be introduced
to the man Mona loved, stopped
dead. "Your husband—your—Mr. Jim-
my Reed? I—" with a supreme effort,
he shook hands wit# Jimmy.
Janey hugged herself ecstatically.
She was right. Moua. felt only the de-
sire to escape. .. "Jimmy, I must get
back to pack. Won't you see me
home?" she nodded laughingly, and
dragged puzzled Jimmy off.
Miserably John Nason faced Janey
and stammered his confession.
"Mrs. Janey, will you help me?"
Janey looked Into his white face.
Without a word she dropped to the
sand. "Oh, Jimmy, my ankle," she
moaned, which brought both Jimmy
and Mona flying to her side.
Jimmy picked her tenderly and
hurried over the sands. Limply she
lay In hts arms. Mona prepared to
follow, but a gently detaining hand
held her back. 1
"Mona—dearest—'' ;
"Please, I must goT ,

Uncle Jimmy was a lover of yours. I

she cried. "When I was telling Jimmy
how I love yon—"
"Love me! Oh, Mona, do you mean
It? Will you forgive me and not go
away tomorrow? Will you let me be-
gin all over?"
, Thirty-seven snd a half minutes
later, Janey paralyzed the muocetit
cause of all thl8 trouble by jumping
guyly from the hammock where he had
tenderly placed, her and dancing across
to him.
"Oh, Jimmy, Jimmy I" she cried, "he
wanted only a minute and they've
been gone 38 already. Aren't you glad
and joyous and happy and' every-

Jimmy, puzzled, yet perfectly will-
