VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL A SUCCESS—Ixist Monday through Friday mornings
an average of over a hundred children daily enjoyed Vacation Bible School at the
First Baptist Church in Rio Grande City. The youth group from Lakeview Baptist
Church in Grand Prairie, Texas rounded up the children in their big blue and white
bus each morning and brought them to the church where they took part in singing,
story telling, group play, and hand crafts. Refreshments were served each day. A
special treat were the shows presented by the puppets that came on the blue and white
bus. A program Friday morning enabled the Bible students to show their friends and
family some of the things they learned during Vacation Bible School.
