f be original Idea of the new company was
to have only the El Paso olTlce but upon
the return to this city of Mr. Llpplncott
who has visited the more Important man li-
lao tu ring centers of the east during the
past two months It was found necessary to
open a Los Angeles office.
Mr. Llpplncott tells the Times that lie was
very agreeably surprised while In the east
to learn how favorably the dirrerent east-
ern manufacturers looked upon El Paso as
a distributing center and that the manu-
facturers who were not represented In this
territory are very anxious to secure rep-
resentation and those whose lines are now
being sold In the territory tributary to El
Paso believed that their business would In-
crease from year to year as El Paso In
their opinion was destined to become one
of the greatest mine and mllle supply dis-
tributing points In the whole west.
The new company will solicit business In
southern California. Arizona New Mexico.
El Paso and vicinity and the northern tier
of states In old Mexico and will In a very
short time travel quite a corps or salesmen.
Mr. Llpplncott experts to leave El Paso
the latter part or this week ror Los An-
geles and will manage that orriee at 03
Hlgglns building and have charge or the
southern California and western Arizona
business. He sutes that conditions are very
good In southern California and that the
prospects sre excellent ror a very success
rul season and that owing 10 the high price
or metals the state or Arizona Is experienc-
ing phenomenal prosperity. Mr. Beall will
manage the El Paso ornee at Alo Mills
building and bave charge of the business
In this city also New Mexico and eastern
Arizona.
