and accomplishments of
the club year.
The main project of the
club is to sponsor the

the necessary funds a
Bridge and 42 benefit was
held early in the club year.
Money for new books was
provided along with the
necessary funds to buy a
stove, new doors and to
paint the exterior of the
library.
Such money making pro-
jects as a third place float
in the rodeo parade, the
Christmas Bazaar and the
sale of special napkins was
used for Mesquite District
Scholarship fund and prizes
for the Community Christ-
mas lighting contest.
Through community serv-
ice projects, members have
given time and money
through working at the T.B.
Mobil Unit, the March of
Dimes and the Heart Fund
Drive .The club also fur-
nished food and clothing at
Thanksgiving for a needy
family.
This year at Christmas
time Mrs. Carl Duncan de-
livered the annual gift to
the State Hospital at Wich-
ita Falls. Members also pro-
vided Mrs. Duncan with
refreshments for the wing
party she gave at the State
Hospital.
Through our course of
study this year "Texas Ago
And On The Go Go", the
club has learned many in-
teresting and unusual facts
about Texas. For all of our
accomplishment in our com-
munity, the club received a
Certificate of Merit from
