young cow, "Gilded Leaf,'' only
three years utel two months old, that
was tested for the tirst time for but-
ter capacity on the week commenc-
ing August 2Hrd, and yielded seven-
teen pounds an.l tour mid a half
ounce* of splcndi.l butter. In mltli

wheat bran and chops, The test

cumstances, as no preparatory high
feeding was indulged in, otherwise
