son, Lee, Fayette,Caldwell and Hays

This purt of county is rolling prairie,
with timlier only on the banks of the

tion of one line of hills and the de-
pression made by the Colorado and
it* tributaries is very level. The
Iron Mills are a range of slight ele-
vations, extending across the county,
rich in timber and mineral wealth.
The Colorado, one of the larger
streams of Texas, runs directly
